Hi, I’m the proud founder of Burros & Fries and part of a family with a rich legacy of serving authentic Mexican cuisine for generations.

My journey in the restaurant industry began at the young age of 10, learning the trade alongside my father, who opened his first taco shop in San Diego back in 1974. From him, I learned the value of hard work, exceptional flavor, and treating every customer like family.

These foundational lessons led me to create my own vision: Burros & Fries Fresh Mexican Grill. We opened our first location in Tijuana in 2009, proudly expanding across San Diego and beyond since then.

Now proudly owned and operated by our family, none of this would be possible without the support and love of my wife and kids. Every dish we serve is deeply rooted in tradition, inspired by my father’s legacy, and crafted with love.
